Location Sound Mixer Rate – Full Day
$1,250 |10 hours on-site with a standard audio equipment package. Equipment included: Six channel Mixer/Recorder, two wireless channels and boom. Corporate Meeting & Town Hall Rate
I have lower overhead than a full service A/V staging company. Hence, I offer lower costs but equally high quality and reliability. On average, my rate for a corporate town hall meeting with a half dozen wireless mics, 2-speaker PA system and feed to a live stream is around $1,600. Parking additional. All mileage billed, portal-to-portal.

Teleprompter Rate
$875 | 10 hours on-site | single 15″, 17″ or 19″ screen, on-camera or free-standing mounted. Screen can be fed a computer output for remote interviewing of subjects. Other screen options available a la carte. Parking additional. All mileage billed if round trip exceeds 150 miles.
Teleprompter with “Interrotron” camera feed
$1,050 | 10 hours on-site | single 15″, 17″ or 19″ screen, on-camera or free-standing mounted. Unlike a passive mirrored “interrotron” device I offer a video feed into the teleprompter screen from a Blackmagic Design 4K Pocket Cinema camera. This allows for immediate switching between the interrotron mode and standard teleprompter mode to read copy. The “subject” looking at the teleprompter screen sees either the person interviewing them, looking directly at them, or prompter copy, whichever is needed. I supply a second smaller SDI monitor, 7 inch, so that the interviewer can see the subject – provided the camera crew can work out a spare video tap from the prompter camera. I bring SDI distribution amps just in case 🙂
PA System Rate
My PA system services are typically part of a video recording project, a live stream or a town hall. On these projects the PA system cost is a small incremental add on, usually around $200.
For PA-system-only projects my specialty suits medium-size needs. I deliver, set-up and actively operate PA systems for audiences between 25 and about 2,500 people, indoors and out. This specialty encompasses a wide variety of projects, that can cost between $1,000 and about $10,000 if multiple setup, show and break down days are required. If you have a short-notice need for a small system for a small-to-medium audience of about 25-250 people give me a call – if I’m not busy we may be able to work out a rate that works for both of us.
Simultaneous Sound & Teleprompter Rate
$1450 | 10 hours on site with standard prompter and standard sound packages. Parking additional. All mileage billed if round trip exceeds 150 miles.
There’s a few inherent limitations with this approach and I don’t recommend trying this unless all of the below fit your scenario:
- One or two person(s) at a time on camera
- One free-standing or tripod/camera mounted prompter screen
- Minimal script edits
- Uncomplicated sound needs prior to, during and after the prompter segment
- One or two cameras being fed sound
- Appropriate set-up and scheduling time, particularly if multiple locations
- Reasonable speed expectations. I’m juggling two jobs at once. If a script edit and sound matter come up at the same time I can’t address both simultaneously. Patience required by all 🙂
